Oz Together release a FREE single "Surviving As One" to assist victims in the healing process and as a dedication to the courage and compassion of our nation in the wake of this tragedy. Featuring singers Kehinde, Rhiannon Bahree and Sesha, along with a choir of local children from 7 schools situated in the North East suburbs of Melbourne, close to the affected areas of Kinglake and St Andrews. Some of the people involved in the project were directly affected by the bushfires.
In response to the question "what can one give ?", Bob Messenger was inspired to give the gift of music. He then contacted Kehinde and together they wrote the song "Surviving As One", now available to the community as a FREE download. OZ Together want the public to listen to the song and if it connects with them, and touches them, to spread the word to friends, family and neighbours, everywhere in Australia and beyond. Members of the public will also be able to donate to charities that are officially linked to the Bush Fire Appeal, including: The CFA, Wildlife Rescue and Animal Aid.
"Surviving As One" was written by Bob Messenger (a songwriter from Eltham, and Kehinde, (a singer/songwriter/producer from Watsonia) who also produced the song and played all the instruments on it.
